My name is Mama Fiddy because I'm an old Street Mom who carries fifty cent pieces around the Hood and puts them into spange cups or gives one out when someone asks for money, never more, never less than one a day per person. Went to the bank yesterday to get my weekly stash and found out that the US Mint is discontinuing the Kennedy Half Dollar and taking it out of circulation. Hey, that's my good name and Fiddy's! It also helps us remember President Kennedy because it has his picture on it! Please, Young Schoolers, figure out how to get this 411 to the right people so we can all call 1-800-USA-MINT and make a big stink. We ain't gonna lose that coinage! Quote
